The Scout Uniform
![]() |
The Boy Scout Uniform has been a central part of the Scouting Program since 1910, and each Scout is required to have a complete Uniform. By wearing his Uniform, the Scout demonstrates his commitment to the goals of the Scouting Program. The Uniform creates a positive Youth image with our chartering organization, Genesis Trooped Methodist Church, and within the Troop. Moreover, the Uniform is practical dress for most Scout Activities and provides a way for Scouts to display their achievements.
