Welcome to Troop 152

Troop 152 was Chartered in April 2003 with six Scouts bridging from Pack 152. These six Scouts became the ‘Falcon Patrol’ and Troop 152 was born. Mr. Garrett Mears was our first Scoutmaster, Mr. Don Hiller the Charter Organization Representative and Mr. Joseph Polli the Troop Committee Chair.

From these humble beginnings, Troop 152 has grown quickly and currently has forty-eight active Scouts and thirty-five registered Adult Leaders, with more expected through the years to come.

The Vision of Troop 152

The vision of Troop 152 is to have a Scout run : Adult supervised organization, whose goal is to provide an atmosphere for growth in which a Scout may develop into a young Adult, who is a mature, responsible citizen. To accomplish our vision, we provide each Scout with the opportunity to:

  • be helpful and to do his best
  • develop new interests and learn new skills
  • develop self-esteem
  • handle the responsibilities he has to God, to Country, to others and to himself
  • have new experiences keep himself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight
  • learn the fundamental elements of teamwork
  • prepare for new and greater challenges
  • take responsibility for his conduct, his appearance, and his achievements
